Viewpoint is produced especially for local residents by Castle Point Borough Council. The council works with other public service providers, local businesses and individual readers to make sure the magazine has all the information readers need.

Viewpoint was launched in Spring 2009 and replaces the long-running Borough News magazine. It continues to offer a wide range of articles and the popular features of the Borough News, but with a new design, dedicated area pages, priority pages and more community involvement.
