Council Tax for 2009/2010
Castle Point Borough Council collects the Council Tax for itself and on behalf of these authorities:
1. Essex County Council
2. Essex Police Authority
3. Essex Fire Authority

For 2009/2010, our Council Tax has gone up 4.96%
Essex County Council's Council Tax has gone up by 1.90%
Essex Police Authority's Council Tax has gone up by 4.93%
Essex Fire Authority's Council Tax has gone up by 3.76%
This means that there is an overall increase for 2009/10 of 2.69%.
Including the Canvey Island Town Council there is an overall increase of 2.65%
