Queens Diamond Jubilee
Street parties are a great way of getting to know your neighbours and can be a valuable part of community life. Castle Point Borough Council is keen to support residents who wish to organize their own street parties.
The Diamond Jubilee weekend is the 2nd to 5th June 2012. You will need to submit an application to request a street closure.
If you would like to hold a street party with neighbours and friends (who will be bringing their own alcohol) you will need to complete an application for a Street Party.
Completed forms need to be submitted to the Licensing Department at least 2 weeks prior to the event at the following address:

If there will be more than 500 people present at any time, you may need to apply for a Premises Licence please contact the Licensing Department.
If you are organizing an event and will be selling or supplying alcohol, a Temporary Events Notice will also be required at the cost of £21.00. You must give 10 working days notice prior to the event to the Licensing Department and the Licensing Police Westcliff Police Station please contact the Licensing Department.
