The Mayor's Award 2015

Get your 2015 off to a flying start by winning this coveted award!

The search for the annual Castle Point Mayor’s Award will be officially launched by the Mayor, Cllr Jackie Govier, at the Castle Point Business Forum on Thursday November 27.

Now in its eighth year, the award celebrates business excellence in the Borough..  This year’s award attracted the largest number of nominations in the competition’s history, with Benfleet business Jet Wheel Tyre receiving the crown. The keenly contested Apprentice of the Year award was won by Jack Sweetenham, of Castle Point Association of Voluntary Services.

Supported by the Castle Point Business Forum and The Federation of Small Businesses, it is expected that the 2015 competition will be as tough as ever.

The closing date for applications is Friday 6 February 2015. Finalists will be invited to attend the Mayor’s Annual Dinner at Runnymede Hall on Saturday 28 March, where the winners will be announced.
