Committal to Prison

Once I have been to Prison for failure to pay my debts will my debt then be considered paid?

No. The debt remains due for payment.

How long could I go to Prison for?

Up to 90 days.

What happens if I don't go to the next Court appearance following the Warrant with Bail being executed?

A Warrant without Bail will be issued. You will be arrested and taken to a Police Station where you will be held in the cells until the Council's Prosecutor is given Court time to present your case to the Magistrates. This is usually the District Judge who may make a ruling to send you to Prison.
