In line with social distancing advice and to protect residents and staff the Council has taken the decision to close the Council offices to the public until further notice.
Whilst the offices are closed to visitors, you are still able to access services and information from this website 24/7.

Dead animals killed on the highway
If you wish to report a dead animal, such as a dog, cat, fox or badger, please contact the Council who will arrange for the animal to be removed.
If it is necessary for the animal to be collected out of normal working hours, for example at the weekend, please telephone Essex County Council’s out of hours service on 0845 603 7622.
For larger animals killed on the highway, such as horses and livestock, where the owner is not known, please contact Essex County Council on 0345 743 0430.
