Coronavirus (Covid-19): Centre Re-opening

Our centres have re-opened!

We are opening our centres in phases starting with the Fitness Suites , Group Exercise Classes, Sports Hall facilities and 3G Football Centre. Waterside Farm Leisure Centre's Swimming Pools will re-open on Monday 7th September. Runnymede Leisure Centre will remain closed until later phases. The Sauna & Steam Rooms and Soft Play areas will remain closed due to Government guidance.

Aquatic Membership and Swimming Lessons at Waterside will automatically be unfrozen on Monday 7th September unless requested otherwise by Monday 24th August.

Welcome to Get Active Get Healthy - for those in their golden years!

Get Active Get Healthy is a programme of physical activity delivered by Castle Point Leisure at Waterside Farm Leisure Centre and Runnymede Leisure Centre. The Get Active Get Healthy programme is aimed at those in their golden years and people looking to improve their health and wellbeing.

If you haven't exercised before or has been a while it's not too late to start. All our instructors are specially qualified to teach health related exercise to people of all levels of fitness and ability to ensure everyone can join in at their own pace.

You can choose the classes and activities which suit you best including strength and balance programmes, aqua and dance activities, leisure and walking sports.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

In line with social distancing advice and to protect residents and staff the Council has taken the decision to close the Council offices to the public until further notice.

Whilst the offices are closed to visitors, you are still able to access services and information from this website 24/7.
