Coronavirus (Covid-19): Centre Closures

We are taking the threat of Coronavirus (Covid-19) very seriously and unfortunately, due to instruction from the Government, we will be closing both our Leisure Centres and Community Halls for the foreseeable future.

All membership and swimming lesson fees will be frozen automatically, and all customers who have prepaid will be credited. The next Direct Debit due in April, will not be taken as all memberships and swimming lesson payments are now frozen. If customers have prepaid for activities such as memberships and swimming lessons, we will adjust the next direct debit when we reopen, and credit what we owe you.  Please be aware the next Direct Debit will be taken as and when we reopen.

All customers who have paid upfront for memberships, swimming lessons, community hall bookings and other activities will also be credited when we reopen in the future.

We will continue to do our best to keep all our customers updated on when the centre can re-open. In the meantime, we will be offering free Live Facebook and Instagram classes, other home workouts including family workouts, Live Question and Answer videos and advice on how to keep up your fitness levels on our Facebook @CastlePointLeisure and Instagram @Castlepointleisure1.

Most importantly, we hope all our friends, members & customers stay safe, and we look forward to welcoming you all again in the future.

Jade's Kettlebell Class

Julie's Spin Class

Josh's Football Chest Workout

Take a 30 second break in between each exercise – this will gradually get longer. You could also start this as one set and then build up to 2 and 3 and eventually you'll be at over 180 press ups. A real finisher to burn out your chest at the end is to do as many press-ups as you can in 60 seconds.

We recommend doing this workout twice a week and taking a photo before and then again in 10 weeks.

Alex's Chair Workout

Throughout this workout you will aim to complete 3 sets and 12 repetitions on each exercise. Ensure each and every movement is performed in a slow and controlled manner, this will help us to get the best results possible.

Perry's Power Workout

6-8 reps on each exercise - enjoy guys!

Liam's Home Leg Workout

3 sets - 12 reps on each exercise with single leg exercises on both legs. Take a 30 second break in between sets. You can also start with one set and gradually build up to 3 sets. After you have finished try the 60 second jumping squat finisher. A final progression is to add weight to your backpack every week!
