Coronavirus (Covid-19): How We're Keeping Our Centres Safe
Members no longer need to book Gym, Swimming and Sauna & Steam sessions. Non-members can still use the online booking system and Castle Point Leisure App to book. All Group Exercise Classes and Sports Hall activities will still need to be booked as normal.
We strongly encourage all customers to wear face coverings whilst travelling around our centres. However, we must emphasise that wearing a face covering is not required whilst you are exercising. All staff members will also be wearing face coverings so that everyone is safe in our centres.
Please respect others during this time and if others wish to distance, please give them the space where possible to do so.
THE FORT IS NOW OPEN!
Waterside Farm Leisure Centre is the home of The Fort that is an extension to our original Fitness Suite by extending our current free weights area and introducing a state of the art functional zone.
The area incorporates a mixture of strength and functional equipment including multiple rigs and a high tech track down the middle. The rigs will include several squat racks, peg walls, landmines, pull up bars, rope climbs, boxing zones, Olympic ring stations and a 13 metre sled track all providing the perfect workout area for your own workouts and our newly designed Fort group exercise classes. All rigs have been designed and made by BeaverFit using top grade British made Steel.
The Fort isn’t the only addition with an extension of the current free weights area with the installation of our new beast rack with lifting platforms and 5 new Hammer Strength plate loaded resistance machines and a new HD Elite cable machine to make the perfect zone no matter your training goal!
