Local Plan Progress Update
Updated 22nd April 2020
Thank you if you made representations during the recent new Local Plan consultation. The Council received just over 1,100 responses from around 600 consultees.
The Council is currently in the process of assessing representations received on the Pre-submission Local Plan during the consultation, which ran from the 16 December 2019 to the 14 February 2020. If you submited a response on behalf of a group, or as an individual, you should have now received an email or letter from the Council with the next stages of the process and a list of representations received, details of this can be found at 2019 New Local Plan Consultation. If you did not receive a notification, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Council are in the process of producing a Consultation Statement (or statement of community engagement) which will set out the response to each representation.
At this time, it remains the Council’s intention to submit the Local Plan for Examination in Public in the summer of 2020. Interested parties are recommended to visit this webpage regularly for updates.
