Whilst the offices are closed to visitors, you are still able to access services and information from this website 24/7.

New Local Plan
Castle Point Borough Council submitted the Castle Point Local Plan 2018 -2033 to the Secretary of State on 2 October 2020 for examination. This is in accordance with regulation 22 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended). The submission Local Plan and all associated documentation is now available to view below.
Information relating to the Examination of the Local Plan can be found using the button below. The Council will keep information on the Examination up to date on that page, and you are recommended to refer to it regularly to keep up to date with how the examination is progressing. Where a person or organisation made representations to the Local Plan consultation prior to submission, these people will be written to as appropriate throughout the examination process.

The Council has established a Local Plan Delivery Board to ensure that Members of the Council are involved in the delivery of the Local Plan. This board has started to meet, and information about the Board can be found using the button below.
