Castle Point Mayor’s Awards 2019

The winners of the Castle Point Mayor’s Awards 2019 were announced at Castle Point Borough Council’s Civic Dinner at Runnymede Hall, last month.

From this year’s impressive entries, Canvey Company eBrit Services Ltd won the coveted title of Castle Point Business of the Year. eBrit Services was launched in July 2011 and has grown successfully to become one of the largest asbestos removal, management and abatement contractors in London, Essex and the South East of England.  

 

PJT Restaurants Ltd T/A McDonalds were highly commended by the judges and named runner up. PJT Restaurants Ltd is a franchise business trading as McDonald’s. The business is owned by Peter Tassell who operates 3 local restaurants in Castle Point and one in Pitsea.

The Business Awards are now in their twelfth year and provide a unique opportunity for local businesses to showcase their achievements and gain recognition in the local area.

The Apprentice of the Year Award was also announced, highlighting the outstanding capabilities and work ethic of young people in the Borough. The award saw Ella Durose of USP College, Seevic Campus and Tahlia Brown of Castle Point Borough Council crowned joint winners and receiving recognition for their valuable contributions.
