Christmas Carols in Castle Point

Castle Point Mayor’s traditional Christmas Carol concert takes place this year on Sunday 10 December.

The event, which marks the beginning to festivities in the Borough takes place at The Salvation Army Hadleigh Temple, London Road, Hadleigh .

No tickets are necessary and admission is free, however there will be a collection in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Doors open at 5.30pm for a 6pm Start. Following the Concert coffee and mince pies will be served. Parking is available in Morrisons car park.

Hadleigh Salvation Army Band and young voices from local schools will lead the singing at this popular Christmas event.

Mayor, Councillor Brian Wood said: “This has been a great tradition for many years working in partnership with The Hadleigh Temple and locals Schools within the Community. We all enjoy a lovely festive evening whist raising money for such a worthwhile cause. I hope we can continue to support the charity in this way for many years to come.”
