Covid 19 Recovery - Safety advice for Castle Point Businesses

The Environmental Health Service at Castle Point Borough Council is working hard to ensure that businesses in our borough operate safely and in accordance with the COVID-19 regulations.

We understand that this is a very difficult time for everyone, and we are here to offer guidance and support wherever possible. The Service would like to thank all our businesses which have been complying with the Governments instructions. There have been a small number of businesses which have not complied, and enforcement action has been taken. We will continue to use our powers in order to protect our borough if we have to.

Councillor Wayne Johnson Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing said “The Council is doing all it can during this difficult time to assist businesses to re-open safely and I urge all businesses to read the available guidance and seek advice from our Environmental Health Service if they feel this would be helpful”
