CPBC joins Prevention Concordat for Mental Health

We are pleased to announce that we have signed up to the Prevention Concordat for Better Mental Health from Public Health England.

One in six adults experiences at least one diagnosable mental health problem in their lifetime. This is influenced by the environment in which we are born, grow, live and work, meaning many of these problems can be prevented – and we can all play a role in this.

By adding our name to the growing list of signatories, we are showing our commitment to preventing poor mental health and promoting good mental health and wellbeing in our local communities.

This can only be achieved through everyone working together across sectors and we encourage other organisations to join us in recognising that mental health is just as important as physical health.

As a society, we are moving away from stigma and fear, and towards achieving a fairer and more equal society.

Join us in promoting better mental health and wellbeing. For more information on how to become a signatory, contact
