Essex Community Covid-19 testing moves to rapid Lateral Flow Tests
Following a change in government policy, community Covid-19 testing in Essex is changing to focus on rapid testing for individuals without Covid-19 symptoms.
We will no longer be giving out PCR tests from Castle Point Borough Council Offices Kiln Road Benfleet Essex as of Thursday 28 January.
If you live or work in Essex, you can instead get a quick and free LFT test to give you peace of mind.

If you have got a home PCR testing kit from Castle Point Borough Council Offices, you need to return it to Castle Point Borough Council Offices Kiln Road Benfleet Essex by 12pm on 4 February.
There are now 13 Lateral Flow Test (LFT) centres set up across Essex, available to people who do not have symptoms and live or work in the area. These offer quick results for anyone without Covid-19 symptoms who lives or works in the area.
