Thank the recycling crews poster competition

Our recycling and refuse crews have been working hard to collect your waste throughout the last year of Covid-19 restrictions.  The Council are launching a competition to design a poster that shows how we would all like to thank them for their hard work and commitment.  This could be a picture of you waving to the crews as they pass, the importance of continuing to recycle even during Covid-19, or something else.

There are three age groups:

• Ages: 0-5
• Ages: 6-11
• Ages: 12+

Simply design your poster and take a photo of it and email it in to recycling@castlepoint.gov.uk there will also be a special prize for the best poster in a window for our crews to see, so add a photo of this too.  Please include the first name and age of the artist.

The best posters will be posted on our Twitter and Facebook channels, with our favourite from each age group winning a £25 gift voucher of your choice.
