Can you remove a damaged Road / Street Name Plate?

Yes, please contact us (including your name, address and location of the damaged plate) Streetscene@castlepoint.gov.uk, or telephone us on 01268 882200 so that we assist you.

Alternatively you can visit the Street Scene Section at the Council Offices, Kiln Road, Benfleet, SS7 1TF.

Can you fix the new Road / Street Name Plate on to my wall?

The rules dictate that all Street Name Plates must be affixed to posts.

Can you get my Road / Street Name Plate painted as it is rusty?

We only repair Street Name Plates if the name has become illegible. Yes, but only to replace an existing one.
