Coronavirus (Covid-19): Centre Re-opening

Our centres have re-opened!

We are opening our centres in phases starting with the Fitness Suites , Group Exercise Classes, Sports Hall facilities and 3G Football Centre. Waterside Farm Leisure Centre's Swimming Pools will re-open on Monday 7th September. Runnymede Leisure Centre will remain closed until later phases. The Sauna & Steam Rooms and Soft Play areas will remain closed due to Government guidance.

Aquatic Membership and Swimming Lessons at Waterside will automatically be unfrozen on Monday 7th September unless requested otherwise by Monday 24th August.

What’s on offer?

Under 5’s Soft Play equipment including tunnels, wobblers, slide, rockers, gigantic play balls, building blocks and sensory equipment.

FREE with every adult swim admission. £4.40 adult swim admission fee applies.

Or £1.20 per child

Maximum x2 children x1 adults 16yrs+

Maximum 1 hour per session

Parents and Guardians must supervise children at all times

Where and when?

Where: Waterside Farm Leisure Centre, Somnes Avenue, Canvey Island, Essex, SS8 9RA.

When: Term times only. Monday – Friday between 9am and 3pm.

Exclusive party hire!

Celebrate your little ones Birthday Party with your exclusive Soft Play session. Only £42.00 for 1 ½ hours (no studio hire) or £76.00 for 2 hours of both Soft Play and Party Room hire! 

*All soft play sessions must be supervised by parents and guardians.

*Up to 20 children maximum. 

*No catering provided on site, although food can be brought in from outside.

In line with social distancing advice and to protect residents and staff the Council has taken the decision to close the Council offices to the public until further notice.

Whilst the offices are closed to visitors, you are still able to access services and information from this website 24/7.
