In line with social distancing advice and to protect residents and staff the Council has taken the decision to close the Council offices to the public until further notice.
Whilst the offices are closed to visitors, you are still able to access services and information from this website 24/7.

Mixed Textiles and Clothes

Working in partnership with Essex Textiles to collect textiles for reuse and recycling. Sacks are only collected by Castle Point and Essex Textiles branded vans. Position you Textiles Recycling bag at the edge of your property, separate from your recycling, by 7am on your collection day. Textiles is collected on the same day as your pink sack recycling collection. |

All textiles and some items that cannot be recycled through our textile recycling collection (e.g. bric-a-brac, wellington boots) can be donated to a charity shop e.g. Barnardo's, Oxfam
