Parking Enforcement

Information regarding South Essex Parking Partnership.

From 1st April 2011 Chelmsford Borough Council will be responsible for street Parking Enforcement in Basildon, Brentwood, Castle Point, Chelmsford, Maldon and Rochford.

A South Essex Parking Partnership Joint Committee has been formed and will be responsible for all the decision making aspects of the new operation.

What's new and what to expect

You can expect to still see Enforcement Officers and the current levels of service will be maintained. The main change is the introduction of a central back office which will be situated at Chelmsford Borough Council.  This central back office will be responsible for the processing of penalty charge notices, resident / other permits and all associated enquiries and administration.

If you have a parking enquiry please do NOT contact Castle Point Borough Council but rather use the contact details below.
