South Benfleet and Canvey Bowls Club

The South Benfleet & Canvey Bowls club is based at Brook Road in South Benfleet and is open for lawn bowling throughout May to September from 10am to dusk.

The club is a private members club and has been established since 1945. The Club’s green is recognised as one of the best in the South of Essex and boasts a large modern clubhouse with a fully licensed bar. 

The Club takes part in a full range of competitions both at a County and Club level and has several County players as members. Apart from encouraging established players to join, the Club welcomes those new to lawn bowls and the club has several qualified coaches who are always available to advise.
 
Once those new to the sport feel comfortable with their game there are plenty of competitions, friendlies and roll ups to take part in.

Outside of lawn bowls there are many social events arranged thoughout the full calendar year.
