Following overnight rainfall, water levels at Canvey Lake have visibly improved today.
Our new aeration system continues to work well and is helping to support water quality while water levels recover.
Over the weekend and again today, our contractors visited the site to monitor conditions and provide updates. During these visits, a total of five dead fish were removed from the lake.
With further rainfall forecast this week, we're hopeful that water levels will continue to improve in the coming days.
