Castle Point Borough Council invests in new bouncy castles and pool inflatable to boost family fun across the Borough
Castle Point Borough Council is pleased to announce a package of new investment in play and leisure facilities across its Castle Point Active venues, with new jungle-themed bouncy castles on order for The Paddocks Community Centre on Canvey Island and a new pool inflatable on the way for Runnymede Leisure Centre.
New bouncy castles coming to The Paddocks
Two brand-new jungle-themed inflatables - a bounce and slide unit and an obstacle course have been ordered for The Paddocks Community Centre, with delivery expected within approximately six weeks.
Once in place, the castles will be used for midweek public drop-in bounce sessions, giving local children and families a fun, active way to spend their mornings and afternoons, as well as being available to hire for children's birthday parties at weekends.
The sessions have been designed to make the most of quieter times in the hall, offering an affordable and accessible activity for families across Canvey Island.
Pool inflatable on the way for Runnymede Leisure Centre
Castle Point Active has also approved investment in a large inflatable obstacle course for the main swimming pool at Runnymede Leisure Centre, with delivery expected within approximately 12 weeks.
Once installed, the pool inflatable will run as a dedicated weekend session, giving swimmers of all ages - particularly families and younger visitors - an exciting new way to enjoy the pool, with additional sessions planned during school holidays.
The investment is designed to broaden the appeal of the pool beyond traditional swimming sessions, bringing a fun, interactive experience to the local community that isn't currently offered anywhere else in the borough.
