Update on the Examination of the Castle Point Plan
The Planning Inspectorate has provided notice to the Council that Inspectors M. Worden and C. Carpenter have been appointed to examine the Castle Point Plan which was submitted for examination on 31 January 2026.
Information on the examination of the Castle Point Plan will be updated regularly as the examination progresses.
Councillor Warren Gibson, Deputy Leader of Castle Point Borough Council and Chairman of the Castle Point Plan Board said: “We are pleased that the examination of the Castle Point Plan is progressing and we look forward to working constructively with the appointed Inspectors throughout the process to achieve a sound outcome for Castle Point.”
