Round 5 Call for Applications

Following Round 4 of Castle Point Borough Council’s UKSPF Community Grant Programme, the Council is pleased to open a fifth round of applications for grant funding in 2025/26 (revenue and capital).

There is a total of £40,000 available in this round — comprising £30,000 revenue funding and £10,000 capital funding. Grants of up to £5,000 are available for projects that support inclusive, community-focused outcomes, and can be delivered between 1 August 2025 and 31 March 2026.

The Council anticipates awarding up to 8 grants of £5,000, although smaller applications (e.g. £2,000) may allow for additional awards. All projects must include at least 25% match funding, which cannot be in-kind.

While priority will be given to new applicants, the Council will also consider applications from organisations that have previously been successful in earlier rounds, provided the application is for a new and distinct project.

For Round 5, the Council particularly welcomes applications from organisations operating in the following areas, which have been underrepresented in previous rounds: Benfleet, Tarpots, Thundersley, and Hadleigh.

All other guidance materials remain relevant and are available via the How do I apply | CastlePoint page – including the guidance video, guidance document, application form, budget and timeline template, and FAQs.
