Refuse/Recycling collections will be one day late on the week of 6 May due to the bank holiday. Please present your waste before 7am one day later than your usual collection day. Please note: this does not affect country round residents

Round 3 call for applications
Further to round 2 of the Council’s UKSPF Community Grant Programme, the Council is running a third round of applications for grant funding in 2024/25 (revenue and capital).

The project under this round 3 call will be delivered between 2 April 2024 and 31 March 2025.
Deadlines for applications are as follows:
Initial applications by midday 2 April 2024 (Feedback will be provided on these);
Final applications (Revised, further to feedback) by midday 29 April 2024.
The Council will then hold a grant panel meeting in May (Time to be confirmed) after which applicants will be advised of the outcome.
The application form and excel timeline/budget sheet (See below) need to be emailed to ukspf@castlepoint.gov.uk.

Round 2 call for applications (now closed)
Further to round 1 of the Council’s UKSPF Community Grant Programme, the Council is running a second round of applications for grant funding in 2023/24 (revenue only) and in 2024/25 (revenue and capital).

Project under this round 2 call will be delivered between 1 January 2024 and 31 March 2025. Applicants for the 2023/24 financial year would need to deliver their project between 1 January 2024 and 31 March 2024, although it is possible for a project to be split with part of it delivered between these dates and the remainder of the project delivered between 1 April 2024 and 31 March 2025. Applications are also welcome for 2024/25 only, for projects starting from 1 April 2024.

Initial applications by midday 13 November 2023 (feedback will be provided on these);
Final applications (revised further to feedback) by midday 1 December 2023
