If you smell gas:
- Open all windows to allow airflow into the property
- Do not turn on lights or electrical appliances
- Do not use candles or naked flames
If you suspect a gas leak, call the National Grid on freephone 0800 111 999.
You should then report the suspected leak to your gas company and us.
No electricity:
Check for and report power outages to UK Power Networks.
Water leak:
If you have a water leak, turn the water supply off at the main stopcock.
If the leak is coming through the ceiling, do not switch on the lights or touch any electrical sockets in that room. If you can safely do so, put a bucket or container under the leak to catch water.
No water:
