Exceptional Hardship Fund

The Exceptional Hardship Fund (EHF) helps people who are suffering financial hardship or who have personal circumstances that impact their ability to pay their council tax.

 

To qualify for EHF you need to be;

  • in receipt of Council Tax Reduction, and;
  • able to evidence the issues that are affecting your ability to pay your Council Tax.

 

If you wish to apply please complete the online form where you can also upload and attach supporting evidence.

If you need to provide documents after your application has been submitted you can attach them using our online documents upload form.

 

The online form is a combined EHF and Discretionary Housing Payment form, but we will only assess you for the help that you need based on your circumstances.
