Who is responsible for decorating my home?
We will externally paint your home and any associated communal areas as part of our planned maintenance programme.
If you live in a Council property, under the terms of your Tenancy Agreement, you are responsible for the internal decoration of your home. If your home is not decorated during its void period (in between tenancies), we will provide you a decoration allowance in the form of a Dulux voucher. This will allow you to buy decorating materials to decorate your property to your own taste.
How much is the decoration allowance?
Decoration allowances are a set amount based upon property type and size. When you are allocated and sign up for a property, you will be advised of the decoration allowance, if any, that is available.
How do I claim the decoration allowance?
The decorating voucher will be issued at time of sign up only.
Can I make improvements to my home?
