Abbeyfield House to be presented to Development Management Committee
We are pleased to confirm that following completion of the planning application period, the redevelopment of the former Abbeyfield House Sheltered Housing Accommodation will be presented to Development Management Committee at 7pm on 10 June 2025, at the Council Offices and available to be viewed live on YouTube and online. The agenda for the meeting and accompanying report will be published on 2 June 2025 in advance of the meeting and will be available on the Council’s website.
Cllr Rob Lillis, Portfolio Holder for Housing said: “I am pleased that this report that will make available critically needed accommodation within the borough is now being presented to Development Management Committee, whilst as a member of this committee I am unable to take part in the assessment of the application, I am confident that my colleagues on the Development Management Committee will rigorously review the proposals being made.”
