Castle Point Active launches consultation for users of Leisure services
Castle Point Active is inviting residents to take part in a consultation running from 6 December 2025 to 17 January 2026.
Leisure centres and community spaces across Castle Point are more than just buildings, they are places where people get active, feel well and connect with others. Whether joining a class, meeting friends, or enjoying a safe and welcoming environment, these spaces play an important role in everyday life.
Castle Point Active is reviewing how these facilities are used to ensure they remain inclusive, accessible and practical for everyone. The consultation will help identify what works well, what could be improved, and any barriers residents may face when using the facilities.
Community feedback will directly shape future improvements, ensuring leisure and recreation services meet the needs of all residents across Castle Point.
Cllr Tom Gibson, Cabinet Member for Special Projects and Assets, said: “We want to make sure our leisure centres and community spaces continue to meet the needs of everyone in Castle Point. This consultation is a great opportunity for residents to share their experiences and ideas, helping us to build inclusive, welcoming facilities that support health, wellbeing and community spirit.”
Residents who complete the survey will also be entered into a prize draw, with the chance to win:
- An annual membership with Castle Point Active
- Swimming accessories
- Swim vouchers
- An annual family membership
- Luxury hampers worth £200 each
The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and will be live from 6 December.
Hard copies will also be available in leisure centres.
