Castle Point Borough Council stands with the Jewish community

CPBC logo

Castle Point Borough Council is horrified by the violent attack on a synagogue in Manchester.

Our Community Safety team have been in contact with Essex Police who have provided us with an assurance of extra patrols and support for the Jewish community in order to provide reassurance to the community members and wider public.

Cllr Dave Blackwell, Leader, said: "We stand with the Jewish community and our thoughts and prayers are with those affected. I have personally reached out to our Jewish community to offer my own and the Council’s condolences and to assure our continued support”.

To report an emergency hate crime call 999. For a non-emergency related incident call 101 or visit the Essex Police website for more information.
