Mayor’s charity fun run sees a wide range of runners come together to raise important funds

The Mayor's Charity 5K run at Waterside brought together a vibrant and diverse crowd for a morning of community spirit and fundraising. With the sound of the starting horn from Mayor Barry Campagna at 9:15 a.m. sharp, over 70 runners of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities took off to support three fantastic local causes.
The event, a highlight on the local calendar, successfully raised a total of £250. This generous sum will be split equally among three deserving charities: Karis Helping Hand, the Canvey Transport Museum, and Thundersley ATC. The funds will provide a boost to their ongoing efforts
