New community support video shines a light on local support

A new video released by Castle Point Association of Voluntary Services (CAVS) offers an inspiring look at the support services available to residents in the Borough in times of need.

Introduced by Councillor Dave Blackwell, Leader of Castle Point Borough Council, the video celebrates the incredible work of local voluntary and community services, highlighting the essential work of CAVS, Peabody, Trustlinks, Carers Choices, and Essex Police. From housing advice and mental health support to caring responsibilities and community safety, the featured organisations showcase a strong network of care and collaboration across the Borough.

Cllr Dave Blackwell said: “Castle Point has a fantastic sense of community and this video shows how local people and services come together to support one another.

“It is about ensuring our residents know that whenever life gets tough, there’s help close to home, as well as volunteering opportunities for residents who want to support others in their community.”

The video is available now on the CAVS Youtube Channel
