Update on The Hollies GP practice in Hadleigh

Castle Point Borough Council has been liaising closely with NHS colleagues about the situation at The Hollies GP practice and can share the following updates:

 

  • Telephone lines are now open though lines may initially be busy.
  • Telephone GP consultations are available for patients with existing bookings
  • Non-urgent online consultations have resumed via the Accurx’s online consultation tool.
  • Prescription requests are being processed
  • Home visits continue
  • Face to face appointments are being provided, these are taking place at alternative local locations during core business hours

  • Use the NHS App to order repeat prescriptions, view medical records and access services quickly.
  • Local pharmacies can help with minor illnesses, medication queries, and the Pharmacy First service, which provides treatment for common conditions without needing a GP appointment.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation at The Hollies and to keep residents updated.”
