Waterside Farm Leisure Centre Achieves “Very Good” in Prestigious National Quality Assessment

Waterside Farm Leisure Centre is delighted to announce it has achieved a “Very Good” rating in its recent Quest Plus assessment, a highly respected national quality scheme for the sport and leisure industry. This significant achievement underscores the centre’s commitment to excellence in facility management and customer service.

Quest Plus is a rigorous and comprehensive quality assurance programme, recommended by Sport England, designed to evaluate the operational effectiveness and service delivery of leisure facilities across the UK. The assessment at Waterside Farm Leisure Centre involved a thorough mystery shop to experience the customer journey firsthand, followed by an intensive two-day onsite audit conducted by an independent leisure industry expert.

The in-depth audit covered a wide array of critical areas which included modules such as: Compliance Declaration, Tackling Inequalities, Operational Management, Environmental Management, Managing the Team, Customer Journey, Exercise Referral Standard, Planning to Improve, Health & Safety Management and Lifeguarding.

The “Very Good” rating signifies that Waterside Farm Leisure Centre is operating at an exceptionally high standard, consistently delivering quality services and a positive experience for its users. This places the centre amongst the top-performing leisure facilities nationally.

Cllr Tom Gibson Portfolio holder for Assets and Special Projects said “We are incredibly proud of the team at Waterside Farm Leisure Centre for this brilliant accomplishment. Achieving a ‘Very Good’ rating is a direct result of the hard work the team put in and is seen by the great service they provide to our community.”

Waterside Farm Leisure Centre will continue striving to improve the facilities and services it provides and will remains committed to the Quest process for ongoing improvements.
