Street Trading is defined as the selling or offering for the sale of any article in the street. The term "street" includes footways, car parks, public lease forecourts and generally any area where the public have access without payment.
All of the streets in Castle Point are designated as Consent Streets. This means that any persons who wish to sell items from a trailer, vehicle or stall in a street must first obtain a Street Trading Consent from the Castle Point Borough Council Licensing Department.
