Castle Point Plan Consultation
We’ve set out a bold, community-led strategy for sustainable growth across the Borough. The Castle Point Plan will set out where new development will be allocated, how much affordable housing will be built and more up to 2043.
Essex Vehicle Parking Standards
Essex County Council in association with the Essex Planning Officers Association, prepared a revised set of vehicle parking standards for the County in 2009.
Following consultation in January to March 2010, these vehicle parking standards were adopted by the Council from the 1 June 2010.

In preparing these revised standards, the requirements for consultation and sustainability appraisal as set out in the Town and Country Planning (Local Development)(England) Regulations 2004, as amended were fulfilled.
