Noise and Nuisance

Welcome to Noise section within Environmental Health. Noise is dealt with by both the Domestic & Commercial Teams.

It is a fact of life that we all make noise. What is a noise to one person may be pleasurable to another. Excessive noise can reduce the quality of life, for example, through lack of sleep or inability to concentrate. If noise is upsetting your life, we can show how you may be able to overcome the problem in a number of positive and constructive ways.
