Find out what’s on offer in your Borough

Local organisations will be showcasing the help and services on offer to residents at a Community Information day later this month.

The Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) community information event is open to all residents and is being held at Runnymede Hall, Thundersley  from 11am to 2pm on Saturday, 24 January.

Coffee, tea and pastries will be on offer during the event.

The LSP brings together dozens of local organisations working to improve Castle Point, including Castle Point Borough Council, the police, fire service, health bodies and local service providers.

Cllr Colin Riley, Council Leader and chairman of the LSP, said: “By working together, we are able to achieve so much more for our community.

“This event is an opportunity for residents to find out what’s happening in the Borough and to access advice and the many services available.

“Councillors will be in attendance so please try to call in with any queries you have.”

There will be displays and people to talk to on a number of subjects, including:

  • Community Safety
  • Dog chipping
  • Cycle tagging
  • Services for people with disabilities
  • Adult Learning
  • Health
  • Volunteering
