Campaign launched to help people talk about knife crime

The Essex Violence and Vulnerability Partnership has recently launched a campaign on knife crime. Young people have said that it is an issue that worries them across the county.

Working with young people who have experienced knife harm the VVU have produced resources to help parents have conversations with their children about the dangers of carrying a knife. Essex is a safe county, but one knife crime is one too many.

Our resources will help you understand the law, the terminology and also how you can help your child if they are worried or scared. Don’t make knives a taboo subject.
