RECOGNISING BUSINESS EXCELLENCE IN CASTLE POINT
The Mayor of Castle Point is delighted to announce that the search is now officially on for the winners of the next Castle Point Mayor’s Business and Apprentice Awards for 2023.
Local businesses are encouraged to nominate themselves or others for the prestigious Business of the Year Award, sponsored by the Federation of Small Businesses, and the Apprentice of the Year Award, sponsored by the Castle Point Business Forum.
The awards provide an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their achievements and gain recognition in the local area. It is also a chance for the Borough to recognise and celebrate local businesses and their apprentices.
Ann Scott, Development Manager (Essex) at the Federation of Small Businesses, said: “The FSB is grateful for the opportunity to sponsor and support the Castle Point Mayor’s Business Awards once again. As the voice of small businesses and the self-employed across the UK, we are pleased to be recognising and celebrating the achievements and contributions of businesses in Castle Point”.
Announcing the launch of the awards, The Mayor, Councillor Martin Tucker, said: "The Castle Point Mayor’s Awards are an excellent opportunity to showcase the talented individuals and businesses we have in Castle Point. It remains a challenging period for businesses and I am grateful for the astonishing resilience, hard work and innovation of our local businesses who help support the livelihoods of so many people. In these difficult times for many local businesses, it makes these awards all the more deserving".
Finalists will be invited to attend a presentation reception with the Mayor in the Spring 2023 to celebrate their achievements.
