Christmas Carols In Castle Point

Castle Point Mayor’s traditional Christmas Carol concert takes place this year on Sunday 13 December.

The event, which is the traditional beginning to festivities in the Borough takes place at The Salvation Army Hadleigh Temple, London Road, Hadleigh.

No tickets are necessary and admission is free, however there will be a collection in aid of Cancer Research UK. Doors open at 7.30pm when coffee will be served and carols commence at 8pm. Parking is available in Morrisons car park.

Hadleigh Salvation Army Band and organisations from within the Borough will lead the singing at this popular Christmas event.

Mayor, Councillor Andrew Sheldon said: “This is a really lovely beginning to the festive season in Castle Point, bringing together people from all areas of the community and from all age ranges. Each year the money raised goes to Cancer Research UK and I hope we can continue to support the charity in this way for many years to come.”
